Currently I am working on my diploma thesis, which will be completed by 2002-12-20. Here is what happened before:

1997 - now: Studies in computer science at the University of Ulm, Germany. “Vordiplom” exam passed in 1999 with a grade of 2.0. Having studied more than six semesters I am at the level of a Bachelor's degree. Expected graduation date: End of 2002.
August 2000 - June 2001: Studies in computer science at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) at Boston, MA.
November 1996 - August 1997: Military service at the German ground forces.
1982 - 1996: Primary school from 1982 to 1987, then Secondary Education (“Gymnasium”) from 1987 to 1996. Final exam passed in June 1996 with a grade of 1.1.

2001-10-01 - 2002-03-31: 40 hour per month part time job at Danet IS GmbH , Stuttgart. Further development of the internship project and conversion of the intranet scheduling application to JSP technology.
2001-07-01 - 2001-09-07: Ten week lasting internship at Danet IS GmbH, Stuttgart. Implementation of a component for the content and knowledge management system "KNet".
2000-04-15 - 2000-07-15: Teaching assistant at the department of computer science for the lecture "Multimedia systems" during the summer term 2000.
2000-03-01 - 2000-04-15: Freelance participation in a project about three dimensional visualization of flight recorder data at EADS.
1999-04-01 - 2000-03-31: Teaching assistant at the department of computer science for a practical software engineering course (SOPRA). The first months I participated in developing the reference solution, while during the winter term 1999/00 focus was on tutoring the course participants.
